The wanderer returns

I wont pretend to remember all that has happened since last I produced a Blog, I did have a very quick trip to Colchester to attend the 40th year celebrations of Hospitals Radio Colchester, which I had been fortunate  of being a founding member a great trip and an opportunity to see my old friends for the first time.

Otherwise since my return I have joined with everybody else of similar age to me (94), and have little chance of further visits to the old country or anywhere else for that matter. I now am almost housebound with my legs refusing to carry me very far.

I really do not know what I would do without access to my music via Computer, Radio and electric organ all of which demand the least energy! It is now a major exercise to take a trip to the local centre

My wife Lauree,is equally fortunate to have a very strong interest in painting and Poetry, so neither of us will die of boredom.

I now look forward to renewing  many old  friends as well as new ones in Chatters. I wish you all well and look forward to reconnection many of you.

Kindest regards,

Drummer

  1. Welcome back Drummer. Maybe you could share yours and your wifes paintings in one of the groups, maybe “arty type”. There used to be a poetry group also, but its gone, maybe start another poetry group up. Just a couple of suggestions 🙂
