The Old Once
Sir Cliff Richard has made a song in 1961 called The Young Ones.
Today I am looking forward if he is going to release a new song
perhaps with the titel * The Old Ones *?
Why?
Well the young once from today pay a fortune for things made
by the old once. Old wine, old houses, old cars, old paintings
e.g.
That means to me, not everything we the old once did and produced is
bad. It fills me with satisfaction to see and here that the majority
of the young once appreciate all those things created by the OLD ONCE.
Nice blog and we old ones are happy to get any appreciation from the young ones who too many seem to think we are all brain dead.
I was once rudely asked by one of my sons, (what would you know)? i was informing my 10 yr old Grandson about the bombing of Darwin in Australia, when my son made that remark, imagine his red face when my grandson came running in from school the next day, with a big gold star on his forehead, he exitedly said to Mom , Daddy ,nonna, I got this gold star because we had a lesson on the bombing of Darwin today and I was allowed to come in front of the class and tell the kids what my nonna told me about it, i got three cheers and a star daddy . ha ha ha ha .
Son never made another remark like that again .
