I am so happy to tell you that my dear hubby’s surgery was done this morning and he is recovering well! We are staying until Friday morning as we have an 8 hour plus drive home. We love where we live, so far away from everything, but it has its disadvantages!
It is a joy to be nursing him. I will watch him carefully. Thank you for all your kind words, they have been wonderfully helpful.

anurri, I am so glad to hear that your husband is recovering so well and especially that the surgery is over with.
Anurri, I hope you take the next couple of days to rest yourself. You are always there for hubby and for your students, but take the time to take care of yourself as you take care of him.

So very pleased to hear that, Anurri. Have you asked about an air ambulance? When I had surgery in Edmonton, Air Ambulance flew me back home.
Thanks everyone! Today has been truly amazing as he has no pain or swelling. So none of the main post surgery worries at all! That speaks to the surgeon’s ability and Bob’ strength.
