Sunday Morning

This Sunday morning, spring is starting to happen finally. On my early morning walk, I noticed the grass starting to green up and the early flowers poking their heads up in the flower beds. The birds are coming back, there was a Robin on my trail this morning. They are already finding dry grass to build their nest, to lay their eggs in as they have done so many times before. Spring calves are dotting the farm yards, they are so cute this time of the year. We have a selection of Canada Geese, a couple of Swans and an array of ducks down at our pond. Nature, how wonderful it is to watch it evolve. The weather is warming up finally, last snow squalls where last week. Winter was long this year or maybe I was just tired of it. I like to see the fall and the spring, summer is nice but winter is just to put your head down and trudge thru it. spring is the time to buy a rake, rearrange your flower gardens, change things, get active. But when you are in the line up at the store, talk to who ever, converse, laugh at jokes, make fun at how situations happened but above all open up. Spring is the time to get up and get out and meet people. Build new friendships, go introduce yourself to the new neighbor who just moved in. Bridge those gaps, extend your hand and welcome people and beyond all things you do, Please do it with a SMILE. That one smile will warm the hearts of multitudes…..Thank you for listening, Lou
