repelling pigeons
Well Grizz………..someday’s were the pigeons……….other days the statue…..xx
Am not sure about a statue either , but I always wanted to be a star twinkling away for ever. I want to be remembered as a woman who made lots of mistakes, but grew stronger as she got older, stood up for herself more. On the plinth, the words. ….Just Liz. .
A statue of me would be mostly a womanly woman leaning against a tree of life,
that is adorned with children’s faces and at the base would be stacks of books and then kitchen tools and intertwined with food and flowers with my hands holding a sheath of wheat and a book.
Just a woman is really enough.
I need no statue,, I will be remember by my family for what I was to them good, bad or indifferent,, when my memory diminishes, a statue would only confuses the ones to come.. There will be others to hold that special thought in generations after generations.. Names will chance but thoughts the same.. Wish he/she was here or Wish I knew her/him.. It will be the same for each and ever.. we all have that distinctive memory for someone.. Lou
