    1. Thank you Star, thank you all for your answer on that topic. I draw
the conclusion the idea of speed dating has ist origin in the USA where
      humans have everything except time.

No speed dating is not my cup of tea. The romantic level tends to
zero? If I want to meet nice people I stepp first into SC. If I want to
combine my desire with getting some fresh air I would go to a shopping
centre. The staff in various shops are of all age. That could turn out
like a hunt for luck and is filled full with surprise with no additional costs.

Think creative, be creative, live and love creative that’s the maxim of
my life. To find somebody in a shopping centre who also has these ambitions
that of course will be another question.

        1. I’ll have to disappoint you Star, I’ve never been lucky with bargains. Oh sorry that’s wrong. I bought a pair of shoes one day. I had to pay for the left and got the right one for free.

  2. Speed dating is a formalized matchmaking process or dating system whose purpose is to encourage people to meet a large number of new people. Its origins are credited to Rabbi Yaacov Deyo of Aish HaTorah, originally as a way to help Jewish singles meet and marry.[1][2][3] SpeedDating, as a single word, is a registered trademark of Aish HaTorah. Speed dating, as two separate words, is often used as a generic term for similar events.

The first speed-dating event took place at Peet’s Café in Beverly Hills in late 1998.[1]

  3. Ok Michael, the format for speed dating is as follows………..tables arranged in a room, possible date’s sat one side of the table, you go around to each table and ask questions….likes and dislikes for example….spend about 5 to 10 mins at each table then move to another…….exchange contact details if both of you are interested………that’s it…..easy peasy..lol xxx
