Speed dating
What does it mean? Does it mean to run from one partner to another? Like in a pancake race?
Who comes first gets served first?
Or does it mean date now, regret later? Who of you is in the position explaining it to me?

Now then Mr Von Michael, I will give you my take on this speed dating activitie, not that i have ever undertaken it you understand…….. firstly i would like to point out that the only connection that you would find to pancakes is that you may meet a few “Tosser’s ” so be warned…………. if your astute and clever, you can make three dates all on the same evening……… I would suggest to you, that if you turned up for date number 1, and she didn’t float your boat as it were, that you make a speedy retreat………… try them all……. ………possible excuse to be thought out before hand……..brush up on the look of sincerity……….. strongly advise purchasing top quality trainer’s to run from one partner to another, there could be some ground to cover to….have fun Michael…….lol xxx
Thank you Star, thank you all for your answer on that topic. I draw
the conclusion the idea of speed dating has ist origin in the USA where
humans have everything except time.
No speed dating is not my cup of tea. The romantic level tends to
zero? If I want to meet nice people I stepp first into SC. If I want to
combine my desire with getting some fresh air I would go to a shopping
centre. The staff in various shops are of all age. That could turn out
like a hunt for luck and is filled full with surprise with no additional costs.
Think creative, be creative, live and love creative that’s the maxim of
my life. To find somebody in a shopping centre who also has these ambitions
that of course will be another question.
Hope you find some bargains Michael………..two for the price of one maybe……….happy shopping….lol xxx
I’ll have to disappoint you Star, I’ve never been lucky with bargains. Oh sorry that’s wrong. I bought a pair of shoes one day. I had to pay for the left and got the right one for free.

Speed dating is a formalized matchmaking process or dating system whose purpose is to encourage people to meet a large number of new people. Its origins are credited to Rabbi Yaacov Deyo of Aish HaTorah, originally as a way to help Jewish singles meet and marry.[1][2][3] SpeedDating, as a single word, is a registered trademark of Aish HaTorah. Speed dating, as two separate words, is often used as a generic term for similar events.
The first speed-dating event took place at Peet’s Café in Beverly Hills in late 1998.[1]
I looked up Speed Dating on Wikipedia and posted it above .
annemarie, that was smart and nice of you to answer vonmichael’s question.
vonmichael, Now that you have that information, are you going to look for a speed dating event? Good luck if you do and tellus all about it.
Ok Michael, the format for speed dating is as follows………..tables arranged in a room, possible date’s sat one side of the table, you go around to each table and ask questions….likes and dislikes for example….spend about 5 to 10 mins at each table then move to another…….exchange contact details if both of you are interested………that’s it…..easy peasy..lol xxx
