On entering the chat room,on regular basis for the past 3 years…i am astounded that because you do not agree with some peoples comments you are told to be rude, and ignorant….please be aware that your comments are not “The Ruling”. Others can de critical as well.and make thier comments,after all it is a chat room. Please do not judge. If you are going to make a statement, be aware that others may not agree with it.

Shurley, I quite agree, everyone pays their subs and are entitled to their opinions, these should be respected without being belittled and subjected to abuse………no one is always going to agree on everything……..wouldn’t be human nature to, and would be boring if we did………..but good manners cost nothing x

I have to agree with this and have found this sort of behaviour on other forums that I belong to.
It would NOT do for us all to be alike and it is no joke if someone does belittle others with different views on the said subject.
So far they have all been good sports who I have chatted to here.
I was in the chat room the other day where a chatter was being ‘got at’ for their opinion. The only way to stop this, is to stand up and say something at the time, rather than sit and watch.
It is ‘my opinion’ there a few who think they are the top hierachy of the room who run the show.

Hear hear Polly, I found this when I first joined, some chatters have been here that long, that they view anyone who dares to express an opinion that differs from theirs as a threat………..they are determined to hang onto their crown at any cost……….oh to be able to name and shame ……but no can do.

People should share opinions about ideas and not attack the person who states an opinion. I have seen name calling and insults and that should be avoided.

I agree with all that has been said, the chat room should be available for everyone and all points of view should be welcomed, there is never a need for rudeness. I have no time for hypocrites and self righteous people. It is a shame that the chatroom isn’t a happy place to be, I am sure there are more like me who would like an open chatroom without the backstabbing and sniping.
