I’ve read the books and seen the historical reconstructions, but I’d like to see for myself just how badly the 19th Century British military can stuff it up.

      1. Polly wasn’t that just the sweetest comment from Michael, well i do still have the blonde hair…….different style i hasten to add……..few more laughter lines……..but the same smile is still there………and that’s all that counts..xxx

  2. Jonny Ray ” Such a Night ” yes i do remember it Michael, my eldest sister bought this record and played it over and over again…………i don’t really have any regrets, but if i had my life again i would do some things differently …………but i was never short of a date, and when we were young that’s all that mattered, lol xxx

  3. I would never go back in time to change things. It’s not that I wouldn’t want some things different. But it’s the domino effect. Change one simple thing and how many things would change afterwards. Star if you had met Michael in the 60’s you would not be the wonderful person you are today. Maybe not on SC and I may never have met you. My life would have been sadder for that. Lets just keep dreaming and having fantasies. xxxxx

  4. Blinks thankyou, and without looking as if we are bigging each other, i too am glad i met you …………you crease me with your funny witty comments, and that wouldn’t have happened if we hadn’t joined SC………..ok, you tell me your fantasies and i will tell you mine…lol. xxxxx

  5. People say ‘if I could go back in time’ or ‘if I knew then what I knew now’ things would be different, but when push comes to shove they would still be the same person with the same personality and be in the same surrounding circumstances so probably would do exactly the same thing. As for going back in time, I choose a time when rents were low, food prices affordable and jobs plentiful. Failing that, back to Roman days so I could see a chariot race and then even further back to the dinosaurs roaming.

  6. If I could go back in time.. I wouldn’t go.. why?.. That’s what life about memories,, good, bad or insignificance.. Love, hate or pain.. lie, truth or gray let’s say.. We would all like to change things in our life.. but if you did, then what?.. Go back and change it again.. When do you stop? It’s never going to be perfect.. Unless it is now.. You made the mistakes// don’t change your life,,, it may change mine..lol.. Lou
