Neatness counts
In a few months, I’ll be 80. That’s when I will officially become a Geezer. As I get closer, I noticed I’m becoming neater. When I was in my early 20s, I wasn’t that neat. Back then, some decisions were easy; either get a vacuum cleaner or a keg of beer. DUH!!! But now, I getting to be a neat freak. And I figured out why. Back when, I knew my wallet was in the jeans I wore four days ago, so they’d be at the bottom of the pile. Today, if I don’t put my wallet in exactly the same spot, I’ll never find it for three days.

@fuzzybuddy I’ve always been a neatness freak. My children both have 4 kids and yet their houses are always clean maybe not as tidy in the kids rooms though 😀 I had a bad habit of putting my key card in my back pocket of my jeans when grocery shopping. Until I left it in their a few times. Go to pay for a trolley full of groceries and no key card. But lucky I can pay with my phone. So I dont have to use my keycard now. 😀
You have to do your best or the young people may need to take possession of your car and other assets. LOL
Yep can relate to that one. But I dont think my hands are connected to my brain. They just put things down, anywhere. Car keys in the fridge???
Too true. I have a place for everything so that I know where it is. However, someone (who shall remain unnamed) occasionally tries to tidy up and then I can’t find anything!! 🤣
