Music,Mind Altering

I saw a post on facebook that describes the power of music. We all have heard that it “calms the savage beast”, but we have savage beasts and we forget to play the music; or we feel like a savage beast and we forget to play the music. If music isn’t going on at your house; why not?
I wish I could upload the facebook file (Rob needs to work on that), but it says that Music is the mind altering, mood changing nonsubstance that your doctor would prescribe for you.The side effects are head bobbing, toe tapping, body swaying, and so on.
If the doctor did prescribe some music for you, what do you think it would be and what do you think it would be for? What do you prescribe for yourself and do you medicate yourself adequately? I don’t, but I am going to get some new music as soon as I hear what you good folks are using and what works for you.

  1. My favourite music is Beethoven’s pastoral symphony because I can imagine a day in the country . It describes the different parts of a summer day from an early morning sunrise toit’s set and includes an afternoon thunderstorm.
