MEN

I LOVE YOU, SWEETHEART
There was a group of women at a seminar on how to live in a loving relationship with your husband.
The women were asked, ‘How many of you love your husbands?’ All the women raised their hands.
Then they were asked, ‘When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?’ Some women answered today, some yesterday, some didn’t remember.
The women were then told to take their phones and send the following text: I love you, sweetheart.

Then the women were told to exchange phones and read the responding text messages. Here are some of the replies:

1. Who is this?
2. Eh, mother of my children, are you sick?
3. I love you too.
4. What now? Did you crash the car again?
5. I don’t understand what you mean?
6. What did you do now? I won’t forgive you this time.
7. ?!?
8. Don’t beat about the bush, just tell me how much you need?
9. Am I dreaming?
10. If you don’t tell me who this message is actually for, someone will die.
11. I asked you not to drink anymore. I’ll leave if you are tired of me.
12. Your mother is coming to stay, isn’t she??

  1. I had to decide if I was just not going to comment or if I was going to write and say “no comment”. LOL
It has been my experience that romance is the first action that gets left out of a romance. I was very sad when it left mine. I’m a romantic and love romance but I also like when you get comfortable enough with someone that you just like being in each other’s company without even much conversation. I say “I love you” with touch. There are many ways to say “I love you” without ever saying a word.

  3. Well I just posted it as a bit of fun, but I am sure that if we think of it maybe it fits us just as much.I know if mine had told me this I would be wondering too.But then we didn’t have phones to text on .Glad you all found it thought provoking……xxxxxx .

  4. Oh I found that quite sad, it’s amazing how so many find 3 words so difficult to say, of course if you don’t mean it then why would you say it! 😉

  5. That’s lovely poll, I always did…I tell my sons and family I love them and my friends, my friends a different kind of love….I think saying I love you is something you just do naturally as well, maybe the men or women who aren’t told maybe just maybe they may find someone who does say it,, and mean it.. 😉
