Looking forward

Would you ever think that changing the orientation of my vehicle can make my life easier?

I have a driveway that is about 75 feet long. Most of the time I just drive ahead to the house; my house is on the left of the driveway so it makes it easier and faster to get inside. That works 99% of the time for me; we have separate vehicles. 

Sometimes we will go somewhere together and we always take my vehicle. I’ve noticed that while I’m backing up, somehow my wife points out everything that has to be done, was not done, and so forth. And I have to stop for traffic on our street. Those seconds are very long.

So today I went out for gas and I backed up in the driveway. This way her door is closest and easiest to get to, and hopefully I can get out of the driveway without being reminded of things that have to be done. It has worked before. It’s a 50/50 chance.
