Hi folks! Me again.
I just wanted to tell you all what i’ve learned in the last few days.
Firstly I would like to tell you a bit about me. Don’t nod off.
When I was able to workI worked very hard. Unsocial hours, other peoples shifts so they could go out etc.
Also my husband and I helped out AARU (Animal accident rescue unit) Collecting and doing charily stalls some weekends.
No matter how hard I worked If I did something wrong, made a mistake or accidently upset someone. I would always, Apologise, Explain, or both. Just like I do in the chat room when I make one of my bad jokes and someone thinks i’m serious.
Never in my wildest Imaginings would I resort to name calling, smart alec remarks, snide comments or tell the person if they didn’t like it they could leave. Like some people on SC, who I think should lead by example have to me “because they work hard”.
This is what I have learned in the last few days.
I have been wrong. I must follow the example of the elders and stop being so damn polite.
In future I will follow that example.
I don’t really think its a great idea, but, as people have said. What do I know?
Blinks you just be yourself, do not conform to what others think you should be…..or adhere to be like them…………you have a right to your opinions………and I know you are not going to change for anyone……….you are your own women…………stay that way my friend. xx
Blinks I agree with starlette. Dont be as others are be only your self as i am along with most of the members.
Hi,blink,nice to meet you,……..all I can say is be true to who you are,I have found you can find out a lot about people,by what they write,some of us on here can be rude (including me at times),none of us are perfect,and life is so short my new friend,enjoy the site for what it is,”fun”!!entertaining,knowledgeable posts,and some great people,look forward to getting to know you better,and I think we have the same sense of humour,lol,xxxxxx…take care “mate”!!!xxxx
hey Blinks stuff them that don’t like you as you are, they not worth bothering with….we all make mistakes blink some worse than others and we could all mention same few people who think they are bl—- angels causing misery for a few here in chat that can’t stick up for themselves, I know you can hold your own …… keep smiling and being the jolly one that you are…lots love ((((hugs)))))))
