Just One More Time …
If you only knew how I feel …the agony of my heart beaten and trodden
You would reach out your hands to hold me .
And you would see with your own eyes …
Me melting in your arms …like ice in the sun turns into water
If you could see my eyes welling up with tears
My passion burning for the one who is , but isn’t here
You would hold my face up to you and with your lips wipe off my tears
Then in your mouth the taste of my love for you would be clear
How painful is to love you …you who doesn’t want to be loved
But who still hold my heart in your hands …speared …
How hard to close the door ,knowing you are out there… near
Not wanting to walk inside , something holding you back , in fear .
.
I spend my days and nights and every moment of my life
Thinking of you and I …and the sweetness of the times we shared
But in you …the depth of your love for me , is nowhere near
We are two different people ….I love to much , you love to little
If in your heart , in your mind you had a clue of what I’m going through
You would stop and turn around and bring me closer to you
And in your arms cradle my soul… exhausted…for I’ve given you my all.
And there ,close to your heart…I would want to rest just one more time…
