Just me..

woodworking

Hello my friendly chatters, thought it would be okay to introduce myself as I only joined this site yesterday.

I am a sprightly 78 going on 79 seenager, I do a lot of volunteer work, I work in the kitchen at a local charity that supplies a meals on wheels service in our area, I also do lock keeping on the Shropshire union canal, and when I am not out and about you would find me in my own backyard, where I have bantams and quail mainly for pleasure and not forgetting the lovely fresh eggs, I also have an aviary with doves in, such graceful creatures and lovely to look at.

I have a small work shed where I try to create wooden objects of interest on my scroll saw, using as much recycled wood that I can lay my hands on, indoors I love to read and also write poetry for pleasure, will never become famous but others like my work if it only makes them smile.

Well thats enough of me being me..

Robbo.

  1. Hi. I joined mere seconds ago. I’m 65 and enjoy my 4 grandkids a lot. I’m teaching the young ones to garden as my oldest has turned 15 and is into music, girls and his friends, as he should be. I tried to fall asleep reading a southern cookbook. Maybe now, I can. Sleep tight.
