In support of the youngsters, again

Yesterday I was idly looking in a shop window, wondering what to get my grand daughter for Christmas when I happened to hear some 30 something monster say to a rather fragile looking old lady on a zimmer frame “Hand over your money you old bitch”.

I was about to intervene when, before I could even turn I heard a young female voice say “There are five of us and if you don’t f*** off now we’re going to kick your head in”. Having turned I saw the 30 something running for the hills and three girls and two boys of about 15 years old as they carefully escorted the old lady back to a waiting car, helped her inside and went on about their business.

The latest generation tends to get a very bad press, but it’s nice to know courage and decency still exist.
