Please producer’s we of a certain age can’t read the smaller size Subtitles. I tried watching INGLORIOUS BASTARDS three times but couldn’t read lips.
Another thing if you directors think we can see what’s actually happening when you film in the dark you must be nuts.
Too many movies have been filmed in the dark then are actually acted . If this continues the least you can do is issue Night Vision Goggles!
Just a thought. This truly offends me. NOT!!!!
I am with you there Leaf. So many films are in the dark, or they show a computer message that is too small for seniors to read. A nother thing that is annoying is when you hear dialogue from the next scene, when this one is still on csreen. It was never like that in the old films. Ah those perfect bygone days of our youth. Rusty
The size of the subtitles dont bother me, but when they put WHITE print and there’s a WHITE background, annoying.
I do, however, have a pair of binoculars you can borrow Leaf. Good to see a sparrow a mile off. 🙂
Can I shoot the Seagull with the vision change?
Tut tut,,,, they’re good for sparrows, not seagulls, 🙄
Who on earth would want to shoot a darling seagull?
Seriously Pollie, you really have to ask.
I agree with you. This getting older is not for the weak. Polly…I would love to borrow the binoculars and do you have amplifiers? And…someone to tell me what I missed if I doze off. lol I recommend a movie I bought for a couple dollars at Big Lots. The only reason I got it was Meryl Streep and Robert Redford was in it. Figured it could not be too bad. “Lions for Lambs” Enjoyed it.
Not only are movies too dark visually a lot of the time but also why do the actors mumble so much as to have us need subtitles??
AND…. when the adverts come on, its TOO LOUD!!!!
