We lost a good friend the other day
Now he has gone far away

We had our up’s and downs like most friends do
I am really going to miss you
My special, special friend
You once told me there are plenty of fish in the sea
You, you big fish meant a lot to me
Giving me confidence with my poems and writing
I also showed you how to see things in another way
Life goes on even though yours has gone
