Adults? or kid’s cite?
The first 7 “BLOGS” had to flag as inappropriate. Was hoping that the new cite would weed out all the offensive jokes. Some might think they are funny but as a person ages we realize that all jokes either are against gay. or blonde’s women in General’ and different nationalities. All of them should not be tolerated who insist on trashing a wonderful cite for seniors. This is not for kids so why should some members act like kids. Philly

Pathill…what is offensive to some may not be offensive to others. A lot of the Bloggers use their own sense of humour to guide them when using the blogs. If they feel it may offend some then they add a warning to that effect and those off us who don’t like a slightly “off colour” joke can avoid it. I do think it would be nice though if more used it a little like a diary and recorded daily events in their lives, funny things that happened to them, serious thoughts etc. If any of the jokes posted go a little too far there are Admins here who can remove them but then again it is at their own discretion. If they are not doing their jobs Im sure Rob will let them know.

Faye has done a wonderful job in explaining things as usual.
I will only add that any material that is deemed to be contrary to the rules or smooth running of the site, will be removed as soon as its spotted, if too offensive it could result in the originator being removed from the site without warning.
Administrators have no jurisdiction over what topics are posted in the blog or shout area, only the content.
Rob keeps an eye on things and is fully aware of what goes on. I hope that we are keeping this site a fun place for all to be in, trust me, all those involved are working hard at it.

whats life without a laugh.we are not kids. i for one do not like to be told what i can and cannot read.
If you cannot abide by the rules then this site is not for you. There are other sites that may tolerate offensive saying, jokes, etc., but it doesn’t here and that is why we have a great many folks on here. So if you can’t take the heat stay out off the kitchen.
well dare I comment? lol!! I for one haven’t found anything offensive on here or the old site, but then i do have a sense of humour that goes above and beyond most!!!!
Most of the jokes have a warning anyway like. this may be offensive… something like that. So maybe dont read them if you offend easy.
Chatters, just picking up on this. How about if we create a GROUP for jokes, and then ALL Jokes can get posted there instead of the Blogs.
