A miracle happened to me today
I don’t know really how to even explain this but something truly miraculous occurred in my life today and I just felt like I needed to share it in the hopes that it might inspire someone else who might read this…
Relatively ordinary day as I did my chores and got ready for work, but something happened to me that was totally unexpected and has never happened before and likely will never again. Now you may want to sit before reading the next sentence because you probably won’t believe it and if you do, it could well knock you off your feet in stunned amazement.
Today, I did my laundry and when I was done, I had an even number of socks and not only that, they all matched! See?? I told you it was a miraculous occurrence!

A real miracle ! I don’t remember to have ever happened to me ! I have a basket full of odd socks !
And I seem to be for ever adding to it ! 🙂

Oh chalk what a wonderful miracle, in my house never happens,and eight people live here, seven wear socks imagine the size of my odd sock basket!Think the miracle here would be a man doing his laundry xxxxxxx
Somewhere in the universe through a black hole connected in some ineffable way to the laundry tub there millions upon millions of mens’ socks, no two of which are alike. Somehow, truly thru a miracle, yours avoided being sucked through the vortex into this other dimension. You’re not a Taoist are you? That, maybe a recent conversion to, might have equipped you to deal with this mysterious phenomenon. OB
In my house each do own Laundry but even without me wearing socks they can often appear randomly in the machine. How I know not, often not even claimed by previous user. I throw the darn things out. My son buys all black so he can always find a mate. Glad odd socks is a world wide phenomenon and not just our house.
Oh, Chalk that is really a miracle lol… and more so for a man haha thank you.
Congrats Chalk!!! Indeed a true miracle! My son in law literally pins his socks together – every single pair and then washes them. He is always astonished as to how there is always at least one sock without its mate! LOL… I can now say I know someone who really experienced a true miracle Chalk! xx
Well I won’t believe it until I get photographic evidence.. you know how we skeptics are. But even then it could’ve been photoshopped I suppose. Hmmm.. I remain in doubt till I have such an occurrence in my house. With 5 kids what do u suppose are the odds? lol
Hahaha…..amazing isnt it how those darn socks seem to just disapear! I dont know how it happens, but every time i take those socks out of dryer , always one missing! Gone off into cyberspace somewhere…fun blog Chalk..and, i agree, it was something short of miraculous!!

But were the socks you found really yours? What if you some how came out with some of nmod’s, Diana’s and myhurtingback’s? Now that would be a miracle!
Hahaha Linda , you’ve just have given me an idea ! How about organizing a “missing sock swap meet ” where we all chatters bring along our basket of odd socks and swap them around to make pairs !
We could make it an annual event ! 🙂
