Introduction
Hello, my name is Rachael, but people usually call me Rae.
I am a 57-year-old recent widow.
I’m finding it very hard to navigate life on my own.
Writing is the way I connect with people.
When I write I am able to express my feelings.
I am a diabetic 2 and I have had some complications in the last couple years due to the diagnosis. I am now taking insulin.
I am an American, but I never discussed politics if I can help it.
I have two children ,both grown, and two grandchildren both girls.
I am a Christian, but I am not pushy about it.
Anyway, that’s all I can think of to say about myself.

Hi Rae, welcome to the site. I am sorry you have lost your husband so young. And health issues too. Life can be so harsh. If writing helps, this could be a great site for you. There are lots of groups for humour and light hearted banter. But also people who want to share some deeper thoughts. I look forward to your posts and getting to know you better.
