Mr.Darcy
Mr.Darcy is my old, big, faithful friend of the canine variety. He is a lurcher – greyhound crossed with a labrador – or so I think. The legs on him are long and don’t always do what he wants them to do, but you should see him in full flight, when the greyhound part of him overtakes!!
He’s lived with us for only three years, but it seems like we’ve known him for ever, he is such a gentle soul. So clumsy though! It was proved early this morning, when I heard a noise; a bump sort of noise…..only to realise that he had fallen off the settee (where he’s allowed to sleep). There he was, on his back, legs up in the air and I’ll swear he was muttering to himself…”it’s ok, I meant to do that….everything’s ok….”
Did I say before that he is clumsy?

THANK-YOU for being his human best friend 😍
oh, thankyou, Scorpio. I’ve always loved dogs – had one as a companion for most of my life- starting with bringing one home from school when the teacher told us the pups were going to have to be put to sleep!! I don’t think my Mum or Dad were very pleased, but he was allowed to stay 🙂
That teacher was VERY clever – I bet all the other pups found homes also 😊
Haha, I can’t really remember – it was a long time ago, but I expect they did find homes!
Where would we be without our dogs. I have 3 at the moment they are my babies.
Awww, yes I agree. My dogs have always seen me through rough times in life. I think it is because I am an only child that I love them so much. What breed are yours? 🙂
Mine are, Fox terrier… Jack Russell… Dane x Bull Arab…
Aw , bless them, I bet they keep you busy! 🙂
They sure do
Ah yes, a dog may not be our whole life, but they make our lives whole……..
They really do! 🙂
