#4 – Skunks and Rigatoni

Is a complaining day for me – I apologize….

Today we are having another one BIG BIG snow storm here….and I am happy that Steven is here to take care of the wood stove for heating and the generator for make electricity. I appreciate very much that he know how to do those thing that I can not do very well. That bring me to remember that I am grateful that he stay with me because I know he have to put up with a lots from me. He is every day my teacher and my protector and my counselor and my Big Man Friday and my confidance and my provider.

But…. the other day when I driving him to the train, I stop because I see what look like a little brown mouse on the side of the road. The mouse can not make up his mind to crossing the road because I think he was fraid of the car – he move back and for. So I stop the car. Steven say, “Gia – what you are doing?” – I point and I say, “you see? little mouse is fraid and he want to cross the road”. Steven say, “Gia – I will be late for the train – never mind please- you just drive!” …… I say, “NO! – I not want to run over the mouse because he begin to move and then he stop and I fraid I will crushing him!” (sheevers!)….. Steven get very upset to me. He open the car door fastly and he walk over to look at the mouse and he torn around and come right back to get in to the car. SLAM! … He sit and look at me and he say, “Gia. Serious? You have stop a line of traffic behind you to allow a stupid pine cone to cross the road!” …. 🙁 Ahboy…. I sorry very much, Steven – but it was look very much to me like a small mouse. *** note to reader: Each day I expecting to find divorce paper in the mail box – I dunno what is takin him so long ?… : ] ……( …AND… Steven ALSO was think the pine cone was a mouse because the wind was move it….so who else is the foolish one, eh?) xo
And that is all…. I finish complain. Have a happy day!
