Your first is always the best!
Do you remember your first car? Of course you do.
Why do you remember? Because we all loved our first car.
My first was a Triumph Toledo, 4 door, 4 gear manual sedan, 1300cc, pale blue.
I loved my car with no airbags, no seat belts no abs, no hazard lights. Did it have heating? I cant remember! We went thousands of miles together, and I cant remember anything going wrong with her. Maybe love is blind, and all I remember are the good times 🙂
What was your first car, and what memories does it bring you?

1929 Chevrolet,2 door Ragtop
It leaked like a sieve,Rattled,Drank gas like you wouldnt believe,Dodgy mechanical brakes…..Cost me about $30 as I recall…If I still had it today, worth $12000 to $15000 to enthusiasts and restorers.
Lol cap, all that and I bet you still loved it 🙂
I did not have a car until aged 30 lol then I went for my dream, a gorgeous red Alfa Sud called “Herbie”.That began a love affair with Alfa’s, had a few over the years until the day hubby took my car in for a service and came home without it. Dealer offered him a good price and he sold my herbie! don’t think I spoke to him for some time, he had a whole heap of crawling to do lol.
LOL, Skippy… too funny!
Haha, you reminded me of my wedding day. It was an early afternoon church wedding with a small reception afterwards.
Well, after that we went to our new apartment… and suddenly hubby said he had to go buy new tires!!! I said, “Why now?” He said we needed new tires. LOL I will never forgive him for just leaving me that day to go buy new tires.
After my wedding reception,I said to the child bride,”What do you want to do now?”……(Hopeful anticipation)…She said,”lets go play bingo”,and she was being serious!!…And we did!
The divorce 18 yrs later, wasnt entirely unexpected.
oh no capp lol
LOL!!!
LOL, Skippy … too funny.
Two near death experiences for both your hubbys….. lol
Hehehehhehe polly
A Ford something or other that was as long as an ocean liner and carried enough steel in her framework to revive Pittsburgh. $50, which my dad paid very reluctantly. I needed it to get to my job so I could pay him back! The back passenger door wouldn’t shut so I tied it with a rope.
On the way home from the grocery, my brother was leaning against that door with a case of pop cans on his lap. The rope let go and he backflipped out of the car and there were pop cans all over the highway. Traffic came to a standstill while we scurried around collecting them!
Oh, hope your brother did not sustain any injuries.
LOL that was a great story 🙂
Might have knocked some sense into him. He doesn’t lean on doors anymore.
Hahaha… good fo him.
