Yes I’ve been a bit quiet….
I must say thank you to all of my friends on SC, I have not been on for quite some time…as I have a lot going on…
My Stepfather has COPD and he is in the last stages he has only 20% of his lungs now, it’s an awfull illness to watch someone who cannot breathe, he is now on oxygen 24/7 he is sent home and back in hospital within a day, I have been helping my Mother with all that needs to be done…sad to say his children have done zilch, what should be a shared effort as ‘they’ don’t work is being left to those who have a somewhat fulfilled life working and some social life….
I also have my son flying in from the USA on the 20th August from the USA, I’ve not seen him for almost 5 years, and am soooo looking forward to that, on the 22nd Aug I was flying out to S.Ireland to attend a friends wedding to be held in Ballysede Castle, my Father has kindly purchased a ticket for my son to also come and my friend then invited my Father, so all 3 of us will fly out on the 22nd Aug (my Bday) and will come home on the 25th Aug and my sons bday is the 24th Aug he’ll be the grand old age of 30!!!….no doube he’ll be suffering with jet lag!!
I have also been very busy with my job, and last night I had the most wonderfull experience of collecting and assisiting the paraolympic team (50 in total) from Tunisia at Heathrow yesterday, what an absolutly fantastic day that was…for those of you who are on my FB page I posted some photos….
An absolute HUGEEEEEEE thank you to the emails I have received from all of you who have not seen me around….and YOU know who you are…….finding time to reply and read all the goings on with the site is pretty difficult at the moment……..
I do miss you all sooooooooooooooo much, it’s nothing personal and NOONE at all has upset me….and you know me if they had I’d have let them know!!!!
I will try and get on a little more and love to you all!!!!!
Oh and a Smile truly is an International language as I learnt that yesterday… along with my sFrench and their Arabic French!!!!

Debs I did wonder where you were ,was expecting you to pop up in scotland to hear you on radio show, sorry to hear about your step dad, I have been with people with COPD and it is very scary, take care enjoy your time with your family , best wishes to you, good luck as well ,
Hi pat, yes COPD is not very nice… I may one of these days pop up to Scotland and see if Ron is able to put up with me!!!!!… I’d drive him crazy!!!!…well maybe he’d drive me crazy… oh well the Radio show would be very lively I imagine.. who could talk the most!!!

oooooo Debz, I knew you were ok girl and guessed you were very busy. Everyone knows your heart is as big as you lol and I bet it is bursting ready to see your son. Oh illgner what a lovely message, my heart is as big as most I seem to wear it on my sleeve an awfull lot but for once I have my heart as you said bursting at the seams to see my now ‘grown up’ son… I bet I’ll still asking him to hold my hand crossing the road…. seeing him 3 times in 15 years you still see them as tiny!!!!…. and he’s 6’2 I bet he’ll love me for that!!!!!..pics will be posted…xxx

I will have a lovely time at the wedding and I have a taffita dress in a lovely shade of light gray….. in fact someone said with the amount of different shades of gray it may look as if I’m advertising the book ‘Fifty shades of Gray’!!!! I must be the only one who hasn’t got a copy!!!!….. I just may get one to read on the flight ha ha xxxx
