@yarnlady Welcome to the site. To be honest this is the first time I have seen you. You haven’t posted anywhere else on the site. My guess is that is the only reason you haven’t been chatting to others. If you would have joined a few groups when you first registered you could of interacted with a few members. So no one knows you as yet. You have access to blogs so guess that will be the only place you can chat to members. I am so sorry for your loss.
Also your age is the average age on here. So dont worry about that.

You’re definitely not older than most people here or boring. In fact this site can be on the quiet side a lot of the time, and that suits most of us here. Members logon and logoff at will and at various times throughout the day (or night) in their various time zones. Perhaps you’ve got this impression because it can be on the quiet side here? Make a few posts, say where you are, talk about the weather, what you fancy doing today etc, just general stuff, and also read what other members are posting about which should give you a feel of what it’s like day to day on here. You should get some comments and replies at various times of the day from various members, not all at once and not instantly, but you will. Use your three day free pass as much as possible while you can and see where it goes.

Hi there. Im so sorry for your loss. Please persevere with the site. Lots of like minded people here to chat with. It just takes time to find your way. If you can afford to pay up just for a month, its so much easier to see whats on offer. But either way its worth hanging in there. 💕

You caught my attention; I’ve been cleaning up the yard, finding worms all over and relocating them to the garden beds.
I am also ordinary– but that’s okay. You have to be a clever person to see interesting in the ordinary. People who think the ordinary is uninteresting are just not clever enough. Or so I tell myself. But I’ve seen what passes for exciting, and on that I shall pass and embrace the ordinary.
