WOMAN PILOT FLYING WITH PSM
Here’s another funny funny email I received from my funny friend. I had confessed to him that I hate flying and take offs and landings scare the you know what out of me. Here was his response:
I think one of my worst fears of flying would be if it was a young lady pilot , who was just happening to be suffering from PMS on that particular day. I could just imagine the conversation between the lady pilot and the fight tower……
” Flight EZ 908….You are cleared to taxi to runway 4.”
“What, do you think I’m blind or something? I can see that its clear! I don’t need glasses you pillock!”
“Just letting you it was OK to proceed to runway 4 Flight EZ 908.”
“Keep your sodding wig on..taxing now…or would you like me to get out and push the bloody thing?”
” Flight EZ 908….You will third in the queue for take off. ”
” Yes….Tell them to move their arse’s ..don’t want to be sitting here all day!”
” Flight EZ 908 ….There is a crosswind at the moment blowing at 6 knots along runway 4.”
“What do you want me to do about it…get out a fly a kite or something or perhaps you would like me to find a bloody sailboat from somewhere and sail that up the runway?”
“Flight EZ 908 you are now second in the queue for take off. ”
“I’ve got eyes…I’ve seen him take off…I can count you know! ”
“Flight EZ 908….You are next for take off….proceed to the take off runway area”
“Yes I know..I know…what did you think I was going to do…levitate the sodding plane off of the ground by sheer will power? ”
“Flight EZ908….You are clear for take off …you have a 2 minute window to reach your take off speed ”
” How generous of you buster….that’s longer then most men can have sex ….pencil dick.”

He sent me this email just before I was due to take a long flight to Vancouver. I printed the above off, sat and read it on the plane and giggled insanely to myself during take off and landing (just one of each, thanks very much. I always book on direct, non stop anywhere for any reason flights.

Haha so have I way – I remember one landing …. well let’s just say I thought my end was near, we bounced over the runway in a wild, uncontrolled way.

Joanna very funny loved it. I don’t like take off or landings either and when I flew Southwest up to Hartford Conn. in 2009 have a good take off and a good landing . Haven’t flowen anywhere since.
Well Anne Marie – a good take off and a good landing is all one can wish for – glad yours went so smoothly. I’m due to fly to the UK on January 2, 6 hours overnight, and I’m not looking forward to it.
