With sad regret…

I would like to thank you ALL for the kind words about my son…….and his visit with me….

We flew back home yesterday from Southern ireland… my son visited with his step Grandfather John with whom he hadn’t seen in 5 years…
Sadly at 4.15am today I had a call from my Mother to say John was back in A & E and admitted to a side ward, after his immediate family being called up to the hospital he passed away at 9.15am to day, I feel blessed that he was able to see my son..his son my Stepbrother is a Vicar, he came up from London I do believe John wanted to see us all before his time came..
John played a big part in our lives he was in it for 30 years…a marine, the owner of a boat yard, he did not give up his fight to live easily..

RIP John my Stepfather

    My condolences to you dear Debz. All the world is indeed a stage, like Shakespeare put it. Full of vagaries, vicissitudes, triumphs and tragedies. And we all have our parts to play accordingly. I’m glad your stepdad John had a chance to see your Dean and you, before he took his final bow. Lots of love and hugs. W.

    my dear friend debz..i’m so sorry to hear of your grandfather’s passing…i do believe people will hold on a bit longer just to say a final good-bye to somebody..and i guess he felt he had and could let go..it’s so wonderful that your son got to see him even if for only a short while..my heart goes out to you and your family in your grief..may God keep you all close and give you the strength and comfort during this sad time..tc ..kat

    Thank you ALL so very very much each and every one of you for your kind and loving words, I have literally been on the go non stop since I flew in back from Ireland…….
    I can honestly say that if anyone has any doubts about joining the SC site they can take if from me that this is one site where we may not sometimes be able to get on as much as we’d like, sometimes we may ‘disapear’ pfor a week or so, but on this site no matter what thare are so many many lovely, kind, and caring people who don’t take umbridge because an individual sometimes isn’t able to come on here as often as they would like in times of ‘troubles’ and that includes me, for anyone who may find the odd ‘blip’ they need to read the kinds words and caring attitude of which are above ^^^^^ written with care from people I have never met…..
    I am most humbled….

    I will say it again, and again the SC site has the most wonderfull people on here, I am indebted to Alll of you who continue to share in my joy and in my times of sadness…
