Wht are we here?
Someone in the chatroom shared that they joined for the company, and the anonymity, that Chatters affords.
I believe that most of us share those sentiments, but there is a friendship element that, although the poeple on Chatters are spread worldwide and are unlikely to meet, is also a strong reason for staying with Chatters as friendships are undoubtably made.
I have not been on this site for very long, but it is obvious that there is a genuine concern for one another, and a willingness to listen and give advice. We all have something to contribute and, pets face it, after living as long as we have it would be strange if we did not have experiences to share.
Thanks chatters, I enjoy the site and my visits to it.

As you say there is a certain amount of anonymity, but yes, there are true and wonderful and lifelong friendships created here.
The bonding with those that you have so many things in common, similar interests etc. afford you to become well acquainted and the compassion and trust I have seen and experienced first hand rivals anything I have ever seen on the internet.
I have seen both good and bad on here, but the good far outweighs any bad.
