Whippet
There is a monitor in the chat rooms who has been very insensitive, nasty, and disrespectful toward me whenever he and I are in the room together. His screen name is Whippet. I know many of you will not agree with me, and that’s fine. After the last time he acted this way, I went in there and told him, politely but firmly, about his behavior. Some of the members did not agree, others were silent. I know this kind of blog is not common on this site, but even in chat rooms this kind of behavior, especially from an “authority figure,” should not be tolerated. I do hope that Rob sees this, because he should also know about it and fire Whippet from his (unpaid) job. Thanks for listening. Please note that I like most of you, and my tirade is not aimed at everyone.

Well jay if you have problems with a monitor and you think it should be seen by Rob. send the imformation straight to him.I dont like to see this on blogs ….but agree you have evey right to air you differences ….but be prepared for others to bring out your faults as well……not that I am going to…..my thought on monitors is that they should at all time be impartial, show the charactor of the site ,and act in a higher standard then the chatters ,,my only critism is that monitors should show by their actions …and not talk about others on chat ,and be stopping chatters from doing it too.I for .one have never seen Whip act as you say Jay ..but as I say inform Rob if you have. mac
Jay, as with anyone else a copy and paste of this happening would be appropriate. It isnt that you are believed or disbelieved but when an upgraded Member (be they Monitor or not) has a complaint or a call for banning or removing against them, Rob demands evidence or back-up of such behavior just in case the said Member disputes it.
I personally can’t believe such action from Whippet without good reason although I do realize, having seen both of you in the chatroom at same time, that you appear to clash with each other. Lets hope this can be resolved by the two of you as it can affect anyone in the chatroom.
Jay I was sad to see this blog, sad because I have always had an enjoyable chat with you and whips has been a wonderful mentor to me. I have never seen whips act as you say. I do not want to invalidate how you feel, if you feel strongly about the situation, I would suggest you go directly to Rob with the transcripts as I would suggest to anyone if they feel conditions of entry to chat have not been respected and they feel disrespected. Monitors are sometimes disrespected also so off goes a copy of the transcripts to Rob. I do hope you can work it out as I agree with Faye, this can affect everyone in the chat room.
Jay I was in the room when you came in saying you hoped whippet wasnt there, and you continude to run him down you were rude to him and then you called every one a stuffed shirt because no one sided with you, that happened days ago , why are you bringing this up again, I have been in the room with whippet and find him very polite and only speakes out if he needs to,you were saying you had found another chat room and that you liked it, to me it sounded like you prefered it to this one , thats how it seemed to me, and you also named names of people who would back you up , why would you want backing up, in first place, whipp was not in the room to begin with , but he did come in later we dont need that in the chat room, your very quick to complain about others, many people complain about you, but they say it to your face not bring it up days later
Jay……..with respect….I always think if you need to address someone…it’s best to do these things face to face….I always think talking about people in this way rings of a playground mentality. …eeer how old are we…?Whip has been a great friend to me ever since I met him…and many other people will say the same…I for one dont want to go to another chat site and meet the ‘pervs’….is that what you like…well…sorry not for me…..xxxxxxx M
jay, have read your blog, and must speak out in whippets defence. I have known whippet for quite some time now, and have always found him delightful, a true gentleman, like many others here, and always very fair!!!!. That is what most of us like here, good clean fun with respect for each other. Doesn’t sound like your ‘other’ site would suit either me or most of my friends here………… regards Annie
very sad and dont like to comment often but i feel whip is the best man among the chatters he is always curteous, helpful and only for whip we may not have all that beautiful music , i am sorry your feelings have been hurt jay but whip is ace in my book and alweays will be while I am a chatter and would not think of going to another site. lani

Jay, I have searched long and hard to find a safe and peaceful chat room with folk of like-mind. I have found it here. While I respect your right to cay what you need to say, perhaps an open blog is not the right place. Please don’t muddy our clear waters, Jay. I do enjoy chatting to folk from all over the world, and one of the most enjoyable aspects is the safety provided by the monitors, who I know I can trust. There are avenues to follow if you are unhappy with anyone on the site, and I’m sure that if you seek mediation, it will be there for you. In the meantime, please respect our right to enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere on Senior Chatters. Regards, Nellybly
Although i never “blog” what ever that is….i think maybe jay and whip may have gotten off on the wrong foot….maybe it was an il placed word or two….but i.m sure being adults that we are we should not take sides in this matter. Lets leave it alone and hope both can reach a new level of respect and co-exist……nothing good ever comes of the blame game. that is all…have a wonderful day everyone….by the way….none of us are perfect.

Jay, Unfortunately I have been forced to make a statement on the recent acivities that have transpired with your actions in the Chatroom. I want it on record that I was by No means a party to the incident that happen and am not a “back up” to anyone, and that includes you, Jay. You had no right to use my name in anyway shape or form.
I am NOT having an affair with Jay…. in anyway!!!!!!! I also, am NOT on any other chat site…. with or with Pervs!
And I would like to say that Whippet has always been a gentleman around me and I appreciate his friendship. If for any reason my name is ever used in this format again, I will be copying and sending it to Rob.

So true, Bettyk and Ari. People should just get over themselves and grow up, for goodness sake. It’s sad when you get to our age and you’ve not learned anything in life and you carry on in the same stupid way that you did when you were young and foolish.
