Well, I think it’s lovely to see all the red whitle and blue flags flying
I know it’s not considered fashionably “cool” to be a bit patriotic and actually like the Queen and all the pagentry, and flying the flag…
But where I live some have decorated their houses (including mine) with buntings and flags, and the private club at the end of my road which is also decorated has invited all the street to celebrate, they are having a bar-b-cue starting at 3.00pm, a disco and then a band into the early hours……
And I’m actually secretly enjoying it, it’s great to see so many neighbours you never really get to know!!!
So tomorrow I hope some of the people down my road forget about acting ‘cool’ – put on a silly hat, wave a flag and enjoy themselves!!!!

hahahaha debz. We are doing the same in Australia, the flag is out, barbecue later town centre has an invite to the party at each entrance. Happy celebrating xxx

Debz take a picture of your house and your neighbors decorations and post it on S.C. I would like to see them. Have a wonderful time celebrating the Queens 60 years on the thrown. I hope that will put some of the celebration on TV over here to look at. Marie
Debz, you have a great time…nothing happening around here as usual. I have lived in this street for 25 yrs and I know about 10 people if that….Most rush past and never even look at you for you to give them a good morning. More chance of the sun shining for 3 days running than anyone to bid you hello…The flags are out though, but I think it is more for the football. Oh well, that means they will be down in a week lol. Get some pics for us xx

Lovely debz – I saw some footage of the flags, etc. on TV, and also watched a programme here which featured the Chelsea Flower Show with a wonderful tribute to the Queen’s Jubilee. It all looks so wonderful and festive, and I am glad you and your neighbours are joining in. What a great time in Britain with the Jubilee and the Olympics – enjoy xoxox
