Warning to All New Members

If you, like me, wandered in without any idea of where you are, be forewarned. You have entered into a strange, new world. One that may enact changes on your being that you are unprepared for.

View this site as one big (huge really) family. We are represented by every type of sibling, cousin, aunt or uncle you have ever run across. Over there are the squabblers. They love a good fight. They will argue, fuss, and fume. Standing nearby are the nit-pickers who love looking for the smallest items to worry over. Keeping somewhat close are the peace-makers. Ready to jump in and calm the waters. Most of us, however, just shake our heads and go on about our business. Sitting on the porch are the elders. They overlook us all, set the house rules, and make sure that we obey them.

To survive here you must learn to live among us. With all our differences we manage to get along pretty well. Some of us are cheerful and easy going. You’ll probably meet them first as they are usually the ones who will speak first to all newcomers. They will hug and kiss you without justification. That’s just how they are. There are the jokesters and pranksters. Their mission is to make you laugh. Especially if you don’t feel that you want to. Be careful around them…they will bring you out of your funk. And we have the deep-thinkers. Their aim is to make you look at yourself and otherss

    Continuation of blog…

    Their aim is to make you look at yourself and others in a new light. Be prepared, they can be relentless.

    Now, the bloggers. Some will write only on good days; some only on bad days. And some, like myself will only hlog on days that have an “a” in their name. You will find blogs of every nature. Good, bad, humorous, serious, or informative. Join in if you dare. Good spelling and/or typing skills are not required.

    I mentioned earlier that you may have to deal with changes. Your first inclination may have been to run screaming to the safety of home. But you are still here. You may have been looking for other like-minded persons but found yourself bombarded by people of every opinion known by man. Yet you are still here. You have been warned!

    Oops…it appears that I’m too late. The changes have already begun!

      Hi Jackie, loved the blog – and yup, changes noted!! lol Newbie I am, but thoroughly enjoying the journey, even I sometimes become a trifle confused along the way. lol It’s all part of living and exploring Life itself.Thanks for putting the concept into words. Lina xxx

    Thanks for the blog jackie…..yes this is here in a nutshell….we are all sooo different…thats as it should be…..some have hard things to deal with….others have been there and like to help out. I like a lot of peope love it here……..I have made some wonderful friends…..I accept people just as they are…..why wouldn’t I. I don’t judge…..why would I? and there are many like me here too. A box of all soerts…..all valuable…..all with different facets….haha yes my mission is to welcome people…..raise a smile……cry with some….hold hands and be a good friend. Yes we have those who love to debate…we have those who only listen to their own point of view…all sorts lol….but at the and of the day…hey….this is a good site overall. The thing I like too is that we have monitors….who look after the interests of chatters……where else would I have met so many people from all walks of life from continents thats I will never ever get to. If I don’t like the chat…..I go away…but that doesn’t often happen….Just my view of the site…so if anyone sees me around say Hi….XXXXXXX M

    hi jackie, this blog is wonderful, and so very true, you did however miss out one small detail….it is very addictive!!!! I wandered in one day, about two and a half years ago, and have no intention of wandering out….not ever xxxx
