TWO MINUTES OF TIME
Two minutes of time is all it takes
To remember those who laid there life on the line
In their time and ours
That’s why we wear
The little red flowers
Two minutes of time is all it takes
To remember those who died at sea
Protecting us from the enemy
Two minutes of time is all it takes
To remember those who died in the sky’s
Who never said there last goodbye’s
Two minutes of time is all it takes to remember those
Who came back and have their own battles to fight
Day and night
Two minutes of time is all it takes to remember those
Who gave their lives in there time and ours
That’s why we wear
The little red flowers
Two minutes of time isn’t enough
They should be remembered every day
I think this has been on before didn’t want to put any others on and maybe upset some people.

Beautiful poem for Remembrance Sunday, thank you Sugr. The poppies are such a lovely tradition, wish we had something similar here in the States.
Those it upsets should remember we would not be alive and have the life we have if it wasn,t for those we are remembering who died or survived fighting to make the world a better place.
The tragedy is we are still seeing death throughout the world but that should never stop us remembering every single person whatever part of the world they are from
I will never forget them Sugs….Thank you for posting the poem.
No one will be upset sugar, we remember but once a year and it draws all of us that care together.
