Where oh where have all the blogs gone?
Gone to sites I don’t know where.
With their heads held low and off they go.
Wondering why there is no blogs .
Could it be that the change is wrong.
Rob oh Rob are you seeing this?
Days go by and there isn’t a post.
I am sure that you are not remiss.
Please don’t let it become a ghost!
Senior Chatters was once a place,
Friendly happy and very important.
Blogs were there for my breakfast read .
Now I look and see no more,
Just yesterday’s for days and days.
Oh please come back I need to read .
I don’t care what you have to say.
If I don’t like it I’ll move right along
Where is the fun that use to be here.

You’re right Mac, I used to wake up, get my cuppa, log on and do the trivia quiz, then sit back to read all the great blogs, in the past now, sadly

I t may be that we have so many newbies now , that they are not quite sure of the procedure….
We’ll,not sure if it that,but I hope they will decide to write some please .

I really enjoy the blogs too…not sure why theres not as many

My reason for not writing many blogs is not the new format, it’s just that the well is running dry and frankly I depend on other bloggers to jog my wandering memories; someone has to cast a rock in the pond to create ripples.
Thanks David yes I see your point my mind goes blank too .thought of posting some of my old ones lol but decieded not too.
What is the problem, anyone and all? What is the problem as you see it. I write blogs, but if I get little response, I feel I should keep quiet, so if people do read a response is nice even if it is, ty, or OK, or ditto. I am always concerned tht I write too many.
Rose, I suppose all blogs are not always to everyone’s liking……..each to their own…………but some are…..and would be a shame to stop blogging because of the lack of comments………..I’m sure lots read but do not always comment……..dosent mean they are not appreciated………keep on blogging Rose…xx

you sound a bit disappointed because you did not drew as much attention as estimated by you with the blogs you write?
As a German writing out of a distance I would say that quite normal. People are different, their background of life differs and the situation they live in has its own needles and pins.
Just spoken for myself I’ll have to say I appreciate your lines, I like the way you bring your thoughts to paper but I’m not aways with you on the same path.
I’m not very keen on makeing a lot of friends here. No I am interested in
making friendship with sophisticated people who know how to handle
their language, give their words charakter and flavour their thoughts
with humour. I may give you the impression of being choosy?? Oh yes
I am and I have always been and I will never change this status.
Let me give you an example; A female member of parlement once addressed these words to Mr. W. Churchill; Sir, if you were my husband I would poison your morning tea. Mr. Churchill found the perfect answer; Madam if I was your husband, I would drink it.
So Rose please accept it as it is and start counting on the quality of comments you get and not the numbers.
Please carry on writing blogs for you and for us. I think many of us would miss them a lot if you didn’t. Michael
Yes,,, I agree with Star,,, I am guilty many times not commenting,,, But does not mean that I dis-like or not appreciate said blogs of many,,, In fact I don’t think I have read a blog “yet” that I “dis-liked” or not “appreciated”,,, Either I have read a life’s lesson from others expense,,, Or learned new ideas or things ( subjects) of many,,, Or laughed so hard,,, That I forget ( Think) to comment most times,,, Honestly I do,,, But will tie string around finger so has to try and not forget to comment,,,

Mac, if i may say, your ‘Blogs’ may well be few and far between, but when you do, boy, ‘Nail on the Head’ springs to mind, lol. Lovely piece of writing love, and be assured, i for one, will post something on a more regular basis, as i’m sure most of the members who’ve replied to your plea will do also. I’ll try and think of something for tomorrow, give you something to splurt your coffee out, hahaaa. Take good care m’love.

Although I may not comment often on blogs in here, I make a point, each evening, of checking for new ones and reading them all.
There is such a depth of knowledge and experience on this site. From history to comedy, from science to accounting.
Keep bloging folks. From time to time I will add one of my poor efforts, bbut i enjoy every blog I read. For different reasons perhaps, but I do enjoy reading them

I always read your blogs mac..always. Loved your poem and ask myself the same question…where have all the blogs gone long time passing! get it? lol.. Everyone who knows me on here have got my measure by now..I dont do my own blogs..oh know, i’m not clever enough but i do look up Mysteries…find one that i think thriller lover’s on here would like to read and hey ho i’m off and i enjoy myself hugely and hope folks like them. Please bloggers come back everyone of your blogs has something of interest to us. I read everyone’s blog .but like some who have also said here, i dont always comment but i will do so from now on, it’s encouraging to see a small comment nothing big need be written, but a small word would be nice. Why i cant say something with just a few words i will never know :D. I need to vent off steam in shout before i blow up hahaa. Carry on writing Mac and i for one agree with you about this blog/poem you wrote. great stuff girl. 😀 xx
