Thank you

There are many jobs in life that go unnoticed and unappreciated. On this site it is the job of being a monitor who rarely gets a thank you for volunteering their time without pay and to the neglect often of their families and jobs,  to assist in making Senior Chatters a safe place. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank the monitors who have done just that.

Lani, thank you, for always taking the time to welcome every new member each and every day and attending to your many groups. Most members don’t know that you took the extra time to do this everyday as well as monitor a chatroom. You are still a vital member of this chat site and I so hope you reconsider and do not leave. While you may be unappreciated by some, you are appreciated by many, especially your friends. Anyone that has you as a friend is quite a lucky person.

Neecee, thank you, for working to keep the site safe into the wee hours of the morning, sometimes till 4am, when you should have been asleep at 11. Most people don’t know you did that for the site. I can’t think of any member other than you who would have done that for this site and never get paid for it. Your quick wit and humor gave many members hours of laughter and fruit for thought.

Whippet, thank you for spending hours preparing your music shows. I am sure few people know or appreciate the time it takes to prepare a radio show, to provide hours of entertainment in the music room.  Being a self-proclaimed space alien from what planet we still don’t know, also gave us pause but much humor.

WizardofOz, thank you, for your poise, your balance, and for never ever losing your temper when most people would have and for never ever complaining about being the first monitor in at 5 or 6am. I don’t know about anyone else but at that hour without a cup of coffee, I have no poise or balance. You are the consummate gentlemen and a friend to so many.

To the four of you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you.
