Spring, Sunshine, and Marvelous

I was out all day yesterday running errands, lunching and having a free cider on ladies night. Louisville Ky, USA is usually most spectacular at Derby time which is now. The dogwoods and redbud trees are blooming and so are the spring flowers. Yesterday from morning till night, we had the most glorious sunshine and something special was in the air.
Even going to the city hall to continue my efforts to get my mortgage company to pay my taxes didn’t dampen my good mood and I did get them paid. You don’t have to be young to enjoy a spring day or have your thoughts turn to love for that matter, or sip a free drink on ladies night; even if you are a senior and a pensioner.
You don’t want to miss spring unless some of you are into Autumn.
