Spring Ride

So Tired of Winter Snow,
Roads are clear, nowhere to go.
My Freedom Ride, My Bike Garaged.
Roads are clear, lots are not.

Waiting the moment I can finally go,
Seeds my Lady wants, fingers in peat,
Many holes in ground repeat.
This for her, what for me?

Spring nearly here, so tired of shoveling snow,
Waiting the moment when I can finally go,
Those seeds I endear my fingers in peat,
Many holes in ground repeat.

Blanketed in chips, and so much more,
The plants that grow I truly adore.

It’s summer then I see my toil.
Roses, Marigolds more in soil.
Of Springs’ work I did not in vain,
I’ve done my labor, I’ve enjoyed the pain.

  1. I like the seasons and I get tired of winter but I understand how hard it may be to wait till you have time for a ride. I doubt if your lady does or cares and I think you are saying that in the end you enjoy the garden and all ends well. A bike and a garden are good to have.

  2. Spring is my favourite season, so welcome after Winter, but here in the UK it seems to be stopping and starting weather wise………..a day of Sun and the birds whistling, a day of drizzle and overcast sky’s………..but hey!! we woke to enjoy another day so all is good……
