Ah!!!!….we have a Games Room…..Excellent!!!….Just the place I was hoping for in here.
I have come up with an idea!!!! (Always dangerous for me)
This facility could be used for….wait for it…Senior Chatters Olympics. I would, of course, take full responsibility….(except for any injuries)….and we could meet in this room for rigorous training.
We have 4 years….we could be Olympian Oldies!!!! Wonderful stuff!!!!
The actual Games would…naturally…be held in the UK.
Now then….I thought….maybe?…
1.Bone Idle Bed Push….this would involve ten older members….(me included)…lying on a bed while four younger members pushed us around various pubs in …say….Chipping Sodbury.
2. The Zimmer Dash…Speaks for itself….twelve people would compete…complete with zimmers…The object of this one is….to ”dash” around as many Garden Centres as you can in Worcestershire…in six hours.
3.Senior Bungee….set in the beautiful Welsh countryside…six teams of two…the object is to lower…stretchered…your partner as many times as you can….up and down Snowdon…in four hours.
Lazy Long Jump…Ah…this is brilliant…contestants have to ”jump”…say two feet….pick up a bean bag….”jump” back and put it in a bucket…twelve contestants given ten minutes. The winner is the one with the most bean bags in the bucket.
Do The Cake Walk…..Love this one…..twenty members compete….given…..five hours….to stroll around Stratford Upon Avon….visiting as many tea rooms as they can fit in in the time….and….eat a cake in each one.
Toss The Choccy…I have reserved my place in this one….come on I am the one with the idea…Best one of all this one….Twenty members lie on a sofa each….with a tin of Cadbury’s Roses in front of them…..They have to….stretch….feel the burn….take a choc….lie back…toss it up….catch it chew it…Winner is….the one who empties the tin first…bliss..
Now….anyone interested….Please…..,dont all rush at once….in signing up….contact me…you will have to be quick……numbers are limited…Health and Safety….the rooms not that big.
Rememeber……Execise is everything!!!!!!Gold Medal here I come!!!!!

How about a Tummy Suck-in..(Men only)..Girth must be less than chest measurement and held as long as possible.
