Out of line???
If I am out of line posting this, I apologize now.
It may have been a comment thrown into the chat room in jest. There was a man in the chat room yesterday who left to go to private chat, leaving with the line ‘going into private chat, I might score’. And he knows who he is. I won’t throw his name around, but I will give it to any concerned ladies, in confidence, who are doing private chat. I do not think he was talking about cricket or baseball. Ladies, I cannot emphasize enough about being careful.
The chat room is a great place and it is very well policed by moderators. But do not judge by first impressions. When I signed up for this site many moons ago, my daughter gave me a piece of advise. If you won’t let them in through your front door, don’t let them in through your computer.
I ignored the advice, thinking that I was bullet proof. But I wasn’t. I allowed myself to get talked into private chat and got involved in something that I couldn’t get out of, without the help of several very good friends in here. And yes I was warned. But I was so happy chatting to everyone that the thought of danger or inappropriate behaviour never crossed my mind.
Private chat is great for good friends, and catching up with someone you haven’t spoken to in a long time, it can forge friendships that last the rest of our lives. But if you feel uncomfortable with what is happening or being said, chances are you are in dangerous territory.

Very well said Kiwi and so true unfortunately. Even the over 50’s think of themselves as “Gods Gift” occasioinally and act accordingly….both male and female.
new here so just reading everyones posts..i have to tell u this is so true about chat rooms even our ages..if not worse..i had a 60 yr old friend who thought she met a 60 yr old male with money also..well..he was a scammer in his 30s she was sending him money,paying bills ect..she fell for him bad..thank god..he got caught and sent to jail!!..now also..u really made my nite..yr posts r so funny and lifting..thank u..i have alot of bad days now..since my alz is getting worse..which is why i came here..to meet others over 40..lol..my girl is 40 the oldest i talk to now..i laughed so much..thank you again..sorry so long

mmmmmm heard that same comment last night in chat myself………looked up the profile…… as others seemed to do…. and we thought maybe ….wishful thinking… on his part seeing the age……could be just a through away line …we all came to that conclusion ….mac
Of course…..I missed it hehe…anyway thanks kiwi…. yes the chat box is good for a little private natter…I have only had one bad incident…and that was someone who was a new ”friend’…..hahaha cull !!!!!
