Nothin’ Doin’

Glad I stayed home on mother’s day. I gave my children to God to keep them safe. I went to my mom’s Friday.

Like I said, other than checking out a pioneer book about my dad’s side of the family and finding it AWESOME! I have nothing doing.

I hate to mention my dentures being checked for a fellowship program because I don’t want to get my hopes up too high. Right now my dentures don’t stay in my mouth. If they can do something (I’m a guinea pig) that would be life changing.

  1. The fellowship dental program I was in bombed. I have no bone in my mouth at all so my mouth doesn’t fit in to their program (free). Instead they proposed an 8000.00 job which would take 1 1/2 to 2 years to finish. It involves bone grafting all my gums and waiting to put implants in to hold a mechanism that holds the dentures in. So, my mom said she would pay for it. My dad, moneybags is sitting on the fence, but if I go ahead with it, he’s gonna pay. I’m gonna tell him, where was the money you promised me to help me through university? He didn’t pay a cent. Figures LOL Dad is loaded but has everything hidden in 5 accounts in 5 different institutions like banks etc. He’s 84 so he won’t be taking anything with him but he is soooooo frustrating.

  2. As an update to the $8,000.00 Cdn teeth job, the price just went up to $10,000 Cdn. I have decided to live with an empty mouth… hey it’s all relative. My sister needs a heart and has no toes and also missing half her feet. Can you see why I don’t want to beg dad for money and then go through a lot of pain for 1.5 years? For a photo I can glue the uppers in and I look fine. 🙂
