My Mother-in-law, Margaret Machado

You will see a picture of my Mother-in-law in my album. She is having a hand tatooed at a Party I took her to in 2010. She left us for a heavenly abode on September 29, 2011. She was 97 years.
She was a fine person.. an example to us women. She was alert to the very end. I miss her dearly. I would joke with her and she had spontoneous replies. The ONLY trouble she gave us was she was very fussy about eating and as she aged, her meal would not be more than a spoonfull. I would tell her “Mum when you die and if you waste food St.Peter will send you to hell”. Her reply was “I will ask him why he is wasting his time at the Gates of Heaven”. that was my mother-in-law. Her secret to her long life was “Dont worry” and she never did. Not even when her sons were growing up. She always said “God will look after them”. I must say credit goes to her sons… she had so much of faith in them and they in turn gave her as much love and concern.
