My Good Deed of the Day
Heading home Saturday from London, I got off the train, raced and caught the bus for home, at the next stop two women got on and sat in the seat in front of me, they sat giggling and on their phone as we journeyed on, suddenly they noticed they must have got on the wrong bus as they started saying where are going, where are we etc.. I was getting off at the next stop and one of them started asking the driver questions of a road they wanted to go to of which the driver didn’t know, I overheard and said no this doesn’t go there, they got off and asked where they were, I explained and it wasn’t a good walk back to town, there might be another bus the other way in anything from 10-30 minutes, they thanked me and stood pondering as I walked away, don’t know why but I checked a bus app the shows where the buses are on a map and saw one was coming in a few minutes, so race back and told them to wave it down and how to get to their destination, they were so so grateful, I saw them get on the bus and head off, such a nice feeling to help sometimes😊
