I could not go to a shelter unless I was getting a dog. Would be to upsetting that I couldn’t help them all.

That was my dream when I lived on the bush property. To build a dog shelter. But then I got sick and had to move closer to medical and ruined that idea 🙁

I have known good times, bad times, exciting times and terrifying times, but though them all I knew I was not alone. I had people with me that I could trust.
Now, as I age and those trusted lights begin to go out around me, I wonder how long it will be until my light goes out or, perhaps worse, I alone am left.
