Any of us who remember this kind of childhood are truely blessed. I had it up to the age of 7 in a country village. And then snatches here and there, summer holidays with my Nan. City dwelling was different but its my early freedoms I remember best.

Tjay, I spent 18 years in the country with cow,s pigs, chickens, flowers, fields, forests, and sunshine and showers. I still love cities.

I sometimes give my husband of 45 years a hard time. He is the butt of much humour. The aging process gives us both a hard time at times. But found this poem and gave it to him. Every word is true and brought tears to my eyes. & a dazed look to his 😂

Ok guys its that time again. I return to the Uk end of Jan for 2 weeks. That means amazon deliveries and charity shops for books. I am limited by flight weight alliwance but any good recommendations appreciated.

Look on the bright side. You won’t have the worry of not having clean underpants (if you’re a bloke) or if all your underwear is matching (if you’re a woman) like might be the case if something happens while you’re out and about somewhere 😄
