Winter Solstice
It is in the Uk. Its taken me 69 years to question is it world wide? Is it an EQUINOX can not be if its the shortest day. So to google. These two seem to disagree. It answers my equinox question. But it cant happen for all countries at the same second and also be the shortest day can it? Any scolars among you like to enlighten me. Im now off…

Yep Im still getting a winter solstice and a shortest day. It seems to be a Northern/Southern Hemisphere divide. Dont know about that first quote either misinformation or just science that is beyond my ken.

It’s exactly right. The planet wobbles on its north south axis. After today we are on our way back to summer! 😎But it’s also the first day of winter…😖
In the southern hemisphere it’s their first day of summer, but they’re on their way back to winter, so just the reverse.
The only way I’m going to avoid winter is if I go south.

More pleasant hours Spent
Just love this site. Ive chatted, chuckled and clucked my my way through the morning. I now need to strip beds, diy, shower and shop. All with a nice clear head. Hope all is manageable with some fun thrown in for all of you guys in SC land. ❤️👋

Finding the peace in silence
I remember how quiet the site became this time last year. Everyone is busy. I kinda enjoy being out of the ‘chaos’. Intellectually I miss my people and the madness of years long gone. But in my honest moments I really love the peace.
