I am not a city person either Tania. Like being able to leave the windows opens and doors unlocked with out the fear of a home invasion or even people being able to see in. But my favourite thing to do is, spend time with my grandchildren 🙂

Your mention of the Durham miners going to Morcombe bay for respite reminds me that for some years I represented a company based in Aycliffe, County Durham – my one regret was that I never got to see Durham Cathedral! However,y favourite thing nowadays is a drive in my car and walk along the extensive coastline.

Marie, I was on here way before 2010. I am not sure if you remember the first shoutbox we had, where we had, Beach parties ect. They did end with us all having to pick up Beer cans ect, Eddy was good on there.The other shoutbox with Shadow was really funny…I must say I enjoyed all of the posts on there, and we had some funny times. I am glad to be back, and after all this time we have remained friends, even on other sites, this one was always my favourite, as it was the place I first ever came online to.Thank you Marie.
