I hope that people are not going to jump ship because Rob added another chatroom. Does everybody like everything on SC? Doubt it! Not every group is my cup of tea. But there are some groups I truly love. Some people love pictures – to post and/or look at. I wish I was as sauve as some chatters about posting pix’s. I do admit I have learned from them. Although, I am not crazy when 15-20 pix are posted one after another in the chatroom. I enjoy some but not all the games – and on a ocassional basis. Different strokes for different folks? Have we changed, probably; have we changed before, yes; will we change again, I would hope so. Think it is great that when chatters speak, Rob listens. Even greater that he endeavors to incorporate a variety of options on our site – which allows everybody to find their niches. Pretty cool if you asked me, surprisingly nobody did! LOL…

I think so too Sophie. In fact I was in the new chat room yesterday and Rob came in and spent time with those of us who were there. He answered many questions as well as dispelling several ‘myths’ being bandied about. Change is sometimes difficult; this however, is not a change any member is forced to make. It is simply a new option to explore, and I also applaud Rob’s efforts in trying to find new ways to satisfy a very diverse group, all with different opinions and preferences. Thanks again Rob!

Nobody asked you, Sophie? I’m shocked! Well I’m asking.. especially since I already liked your answer.. lol I think that’s a great way to look at it. Everything and everybody changes, it’s just something we need to accept and make the best of — maybe even seek out at times ~ I’m hoping this will be an awesome change & just what the site needed. 😛
I liked it the couple of times I popped in! Had fun and enjoyed being there. 😀
Well said helensophie. We now have two rooms. Two will hold more people and that is good. I was in the party room and it was fun. What possibly is the problem?
Thanks for the comments everyone. My understanding, @roseinbloom, is there has been some negativity about the new room. I have heard a few of those comments, I have heard some rumors personally that is a smut room. That offends me. First and foremost, IMHO, this room is NOT a smut room; it is different and does enjoy an open forum for those that so choose to partake. As it should and is meant to be. Once again, I find myself thinking how some people find that difference means something is either wrong or right, good or bad, better or worse; whereas I see difference as two things that are different nothing more or less. It is my hope that the room will survive the trial, and chatters wil check it out. I realize it wont be for everyone, and that’s ok.
And with that said, helensophie…let’s choose to enjoy it.
OMG! Smut Room?? Anyone saying that has obviously not been in there and joined in. A more relaxed atmosphere so they can enjoy chat freely….. how could they get “smut” from that. These are over 50’s here…one would hope common sense would prevail. The ones who call it that should go visit a few adult sites…..then they will find what “smut” is! LOL
While I surely could join in the conversation and go wild joking about the Smut Room; sadly I refrain because not only do I want the Party Room to stay, I want it to Live Long & Prosper. My heart is heavy, I am shocked and confused – some people who originally claimed offense, now supposedly are claiming to love the room, want to take it to the next level. Really? One has to wonder what is their real motive? Apparently, common sense is not prevailing. That being said…bring on the Smutt!!! I would be more than happy to provide a true demonstration of slut opps…SMUT. LOL

There’s smut on the walls, and people smutting on the floor. They even smut out the window.
Please have the decency to wipe the smut off the sofa. Yesterday I sat in it and was not a pleasant experience!!

People please….if it is becoming a bit “smutty’ cool it….he can read the transcripts for this room and sure he will when the decision to keep or discard comes about. In his own words (see his Blog on The Party Room…” Simply put, I will not allow the integrity of the site to slip into what you are describing, period!” This was to one persons concern over what may happen….:-)
Had a great time in chat tonite – in the party room. Didn’t think it was smutty at all. Believe enjoyed by all. Lots of laughter.

I think Rob has sone the right job. So if the world is turning SC should get improvements from time to time. For my side very well done Rob. Regards Michael
