Imaginary Letters
“Some of the secret joys of living are not found by rushing from point A to point B, but by inventing some imaginary letters along the way.”

My letter would be a “W”…for writing. I always loved writing. Never believed I was any good at it. All my stories remained a secret until I was 56 years old, when I met someone who encouraged me to write a story, show them the story, mentored me through it, and poof…it transformed me…I continued to write, I looked forward to sharing my stories with others, wrote stories for particular people…the writer in me emerged.
My letter would be an upside down U. I would just love to see how many things fall out of a U when one turns it upside down. And ironically, U is the very first letter of the phrase “upside down.” It is also the first letter of “umbrella,” and in a way a side-on view of an open umbrella is close to an upside down U in appearance.
Interesting Patrick…xx
My imaginary letter would be O it’s continuous and keeps words together, like love keeps people together. It helps build words and makes them interesting, nothing more interesting then love ,I’d there.
The “O” is so you Kathy! Your love for others and the world is so much a part of you. It is a constant in you. You glow, you are like an angel. Thanx for your letter. xxx

My letter would be “M” for Mindful. I have learned that I need to work everyday to stay in a wise mind. It keeps me aware of my thoughts and feelings without reacting to them. It helps me validate, have an easy manner, and enjoy life.
They say a bust mind is a healthy mind. Thx Blush
My letter would be S for smile. A smile for all who come into work, strangers we pass in the street, neighbours, friends, everyone we encounter during the day. No one knows how a person is feeling and a friendly smile just might be the thing to make them feel a little better. xxx
Thank you Skips, a gift, no doubt, that comes with no price tag! xxx
Something along the lines of Skippy’s entry…I guess mine would be “G” for greetings..as in my ‘morning rounds’..lol! I wrote a blog on this awhile back. I know how good it would make me feel if someone took the time to say ‘Hi…’ or ‘Good Morning’…doesn’t take much time or cost a dime….but if it brightens someones day and brings a smile to their face..well…you can’t put a price on that!!
Yes Val love to read your greetings every day xxx
A very valid point Val, a small, simple, priceless gesture can last a moment, an hour, a day, a year, or a lifetime for someone else. TY for sharing xxxxxxx
