I want to look into your eyes…hear your voice…
say I love you a million times…
Say it softly…softly into your ears…
holding you closer,,,closer to my heart.

I want to kiss you and never stop
until my lips are bleeding sore…
I hate the distance separating us.
I want to hold you in my arms tonight…

I think of you….
With tears in my eyes I kiss
the phantom image in my mind.
the reality of nothingness hits me hard…
there’s nobody there …to kiss me back.

I wrap my arms around the memories of our love
but… there’s nothing…only the emptyness
and sadness of a lonely heart
I want to hold you in my arms tonight.

I think of you…
another night’s approaching fast
I’m still alone…still in love…
still the longing in my heart…
I close my eyes…and in my mind
I’m holding you in my arms tonight.
