I see Jesus

I see Jesus

I see the penguins slip and slid on the ice; the jet spray from a sperm whale and the wandering plankton.
I smell the salt air as it rides on the ring of the tides. I hear waves crash ashore and recede by the pull of the mystic moon.

And I see Jesus, Jesus, who made the land and sea.
And I see Jesus, Jesus, who made this beautiful me.

I see a range of snow-tipped mountains, and tall alpine evergreens, and the claws of a grisly bear, and the bob tail of an Artic hare.
And I touch the soft coat of a placid deer, and coarse spiky grass, and pat and crush snow in the palm of my hands.

And I see Jesus, Jesus, who made the land and sea.
And I see Jesus, Jesus, who made this beautiful me.

I see the love in the eyes of a mother, and the rubbery bones of a joyful infant.
I feel the warmth of the unconditional spark that ignites a family fire.
I see the expression of God in the mind of a poet, the fingers of an artist, and the pointed toes of a ballet dancer.

And I see Jesus, Jesus, who made the land and sea.
And I see Jesus, Jesus, who made this beautiful me.
